על המיזם
המיזם “לשם השם” ביוזמתו של גוסטבו וייסמן, נולד במטרה לשמר את שמם וזיכרונם של הילדים שנרצחו בשואה.
כל אחד\ת יכול לאמץ שם של ילד\ה ולבחור את הדרך המתאימה לו\ה להנציח את השם, מתוך השמות שמוצעים מטה.
מתוך 6 מיליון יהודים שנרצחו ע”י הנאצים ומשתפי פעולה למיניהם, מיליון וחצי היו ילדים.
המיזם הוא מיזם פרטי, ללא כוונת רווח, אין בו עניין של כסף, יש בו כבוד ואהבה.

את גופם איננו יכולים כבר להציל, אבל בידנו להציל את שמם וזכרם.

En cualquier caso, la información que tenemos proviene de Yad Vashem, el Museo del Holocausto en Jerusalén.

About The Project
The name “Leshem Hashem” was inspired by Gustavo Waisman and was born with the aim of preserving the name and memory of the children who were murdered in the Holocaust.
Each one can adopt the name of a child, and choose the appropriate way to commemorate them, through the names suggested below.
Out of six million Jews murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators, one and a half million were children.
The project is private, without profit intentions, only love and honor.
How to Participate
Choose a name you wish to adopt into your hearts, to pray for him/her, to remember and to mention him/her
Once a name is chosen, it is automatically removed from the list
The information about each boy and girl, whether more detailed or less, is taken from the Yad Vashem Museum.
We cannot turn back the past, but together we can preserve their names and memory
Once you have completed your tribute, in the manner of your choosing, we kindly invite you to email us a photograph so that it may be uploaded to our album and shared with the community.
Ideas for Commemorating a Childrens Names :
- To frame the name card.
- To place the name in a prominent location at home: on a table, in the living room, on a bookshelf, in the Sabbath candle area, and more. If there are children in the family, they may create a beautiful drawing the commemorate the name.
- To light a memorial candle.
- To dedicate something we have written or created.
- To plant a tree in memory of the name we choose.
- To research it and tell its story.

Proyecto 'Leshem Hashem'
Recordaremos y conmemoraremos
El proyecto “Recordamos su nombre”, de Gustavo Waisman, nació con el propósito de preservar el nombre y la memoria de los niños que fueron asesinados en el Holocausto.
De los 6.000.000 de judíos asesinados por los nazis y sus colaboradores, 1.500.000 eran niños.
Ya no podemos salvar sus cuerpos, pero sí podemos salvar su nombre y su recuerdo.
¿Cómo participar?
Elige el nombre del niño o la niña que desees adoptar y completa tus datos: nombre y dirección de correo electrónico.
Nos encantaría que también compartieras con nosotros la forma en que has decidido inmortalizar su nombre.
Puedes adoptar el nombre de un niño o de una niña. Si se trata de hermanos o hermanas, tienes la posibilidad de adoptarlos juntos.
Luego, conmemora su nombre de la manera que elijas.
Así, al preservar su nombre, les damos un hogar.
Al mantener vivo su nombre, les damos vida.
Cuando hayas realizado tu homenaje, en la forma que decidas, te invitamos a enviarnos una
fotografía del mismo por correo electrónico: leshemashem@gmail.com
para poder incluirla en nuestro álbum y compartirla con todos.
Algunas ideas para conmemorar:
- Escribir su nombre y colocarlo en un marco bonito, en casa
- Hacer un dibujo con sus hijos o nietos que incluya su nombre
- Encender una vela en su memoria
- Dedicarle algo que hayas escrito o creado
- Plantar un árbol en su nombre
- investigar acerca de él o ella
